Safety Measures

What You Can Bring to Events

Allowed But Subject to Search:

  • Small purses or bags
  • Prescription medicines and devices

Not Allowed:

  • Weapons and other items (as determined by security personnel) that could potentially cause harm
  • Oversize purses or bags, backpacks, or backpack style purses
  • Chemical weapons such as mace and pepper spray
  • Professional grade cameras with detachable lenses or laser pointers, or professional grade audio/video recording devices
  • Liquor, food, or beverages

Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances to return items to their vehicle or to dispose of them. No storage or “check-in area” will be provided. Festival management reserves the right to deny any item it deems to be a safety hazard or distraction for guests.


COVID-19: Venues Parks & Arts and its partners are following current CDC and State of Indiana guidelines for COVID-19 protocol. We encourage regular handwashing and people to stay home if they are experiencing symptoms.
All Best. Week. Ever. 2022 events will have safety personnel present for the entirety of the event.

Parking and Road Closures

  • Brew at the Zoo: Parking is available at the Potawatomi Zoo parking lot on Southwood Ave.
  • Rebel Art Fest: Wall St will be closed from Greenlawn Ave to Southwood Ave. Parking is available at the Kid’s Kingdom parking lot, John Adams High School, and on Wall St west of Greenlawn Ave.
  • Second City: Parking is available at Century Center for $5 per car.
  • Sweat the City: Jefferson Blvd will be closed from Niles Ave to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Parking is available at the Wayne Street Garage and at the Zion Church parking lot.
  • West Side Wednesday: Western Ave will be closed from Kaley St to Dundee St. Parking is available on-street surrounding the event.
  • The Links at Four Winds Field: Parking information for Four Winds Field is available on the South Bend Cubs website here.
  • Morris 100 Fest: E Colfax Ave closed from N Main St to Sycamore St, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd closed from E Lasalle Ave to E Washington St, and N Michigan St Closed from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd to E Washington St. Event parking is available at the public garage on the corner of Main and Colfax and at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel/1st Source Bank Complex. Parking is also available on streets within walking distance of the Morris and at the Leighton Center on Jefferson St between Main and Michigan Streets.

We encourage guests to utilize Transpo to get to and from events where we expect high traffic volume.
